A Hilarious Interactive 3D Adventure
Opened in 2015 at Eontime World in Harbin, China, Moon Bunny Rescue is an interactive 3D dark ride packed with humor and family-friendly gameplay. Guests join the mission to rescue the mischievous Moon Bunnies, who have been captured by the evil cat Icys and imprisoned in his castle.
The attraction features eight trains with a total of 64 shooters, allowing riders to compete while traveling through a world filled with 3D media, physical scenery, animatronics, and special effects. Personal score displays keep track of each player’s performance, creating a fun and competitive experience from start to finish.
Bringing the Game to Life
The combination of interactive 3D screens, themed sets, animatronics, lighting, sound, and standalone targets creates a unique experience where the digital and physical worlds seamlessly blend together. Characters and environments from the game appear both on screen and in the scenery, adding depth and immersion to every scene.
Players use carrots to feed and free the Moon Bunnies, while attacking Icys and the cages with snowballs and ice crystals. Combined with highly accurate Interactive Ride Technology, projectiles appear to fly directly from the shooters, making the gameplay feel natural and incredibly engaging.
Developed Entirely In-House
The Moon Bunny Rescue game was developed completely in-house by Lagotronics Projects. From the first story sketches and character designs to advanced 3D environments and innovative virtual reality prototypes, every aspect was carefully crafted to deliver the highest level of quality.
Detailed graphics, realistic lighting, and cartoon-style characters create a vibrant world that feels both playful and believable. After extensive development and close collaboration with the client, the result is an epic and humorous interactive experience that fully immerses guests in the adventure.
